For those of you who follow us on Facebook, you may have been on the receiving end of some of my "The weather on the Oregon coast is magical" which it is. It's been sunny and 70 basically the whole time I've been here. That was until yesterday...when I had to eat my words.
I was driving home on a dark and stormy night (this is what I call setting the mood). In all seriousness though, I didn't even realize by windshield wipers had that high of a setting until I cranked it to full blast.
Anywho, I'm driving along, trying not to die, when I kept seeing all this debris on the road. I figured it was leaves and what not, until they started MOVING and HOPPING. Que freak out...
I white knuckled it the rest of the way half laughing at the absurdity and half whining at how scary it was.
Now, I know that there are large frog appearances from time to time in wetter climates, but I just moved from the dessert and it was basically like it was raining frogs. I felt like it was the end of times. I didn't get a pic, because I was trying to not kill myself or all the frogs and it was raining buckets, so I just found this adorable frog above trying his best to stay dry.
That's all I have for you today, I know it's random, but that's life, right?
Happy hump day!
Hi there! I'm Skeeter. I grew up moving a lot and that makes me a bit restless for travel and exploration. I started this blog with my husband Pat when we decided to backpack New Zealand for a year. We are always looking for the next adventure and are loving life. We're just your average couple with two sassy dogs and a love for travel. We're sharing our travels and the tips we pick up along the way.
Hello! I'm Liz. Blogging is very new to me, but I'm so excited to finally write as much as I talk!
