Seek Adventure Travel Happy
So Pat and I have been getting pretty comfortable in our beach house. It's been such a luxery to have a warm dry house to live in during the rainy season. This though has lead us to staying indoors more and exploring less. Pat did a little research and found some hikes for us to go on near Whitianga. We went, we saw, and we conquered. I have posted a couple of videos below of Pat being Pat. I've also posted some pics of our hike. Things have been busy at work, but they have started to slow down a bit. And with the weather gradually getting warmer Pat and I are looking forward to doing more things. Some of the items on our list include but are not limited to: caving, black water rafting, exploring glaciers, volcanos, and bungee jumping. This week was pretty fun. We attending the annual Scallop Festival where we saw a man with an epic mullet juggle knives and things on fire. We were sure someone was going to end up a flaming kabob. But luckily everyone was fine. Hopefully I'll have some more videos and pictures of some kiwi adventures!
Hi there! I'm Skeeter. I grew up moving a lot and that makes me a bit restless for travel and exploration. I started this blog with my husband Pat when we decided to backpack New Zealand for a year. We are always looking for the next adventure and are loving life. We're just your average couple with two sassy dogs and a love for travel. We're sharing our travels and the tips we pick up along the way.
Hello! I'm Liz. Blogging is very new to me, but I'm so excited to finally write as much as I talk!
