Hey happy travelers! I'm so excited to share this post with you. Thailand has always captivated me with its beautiful beaches. There's so many of them it would be hard to chose which ones to visit. Worry no more! I've got a guest post for you today highlighting the coolest beaches in Thailand. I'd recommend kicking back with an umbrella in your drink while you soak in these beautiful pictures!
Thailand, also known as the Land of Smiles, is located in Southeast Asia and attracts tens of millions of tourists each year. It provides once-in-a-lifetime experience opportunities, from great sunny beaches to high mountain villages, while retaining its cultural integrity. If you decide to catch some sun in Thailand, check out some of these stunning beaches this beautiful country has to offer for your pleasure.
Railay Beach, located in the Krabi province, is one of the tropical paradises in Thailand, and also the best known. Railay or Rai Leh or Rai Lay is a peninsula attached to Krabi’s land, but cut off by limestone cliffs, giving the feeling that you are on a secluded island. The water is amazingly clear, the beaches – white and sandy, and you can reach Railay by taking a boat from Krabi. This slice of paradise offers delights of rock-climbing activities on limestone cliffs. You can also hop into a kayak, then go snorkeling and elephant trekking.
Phra Nang Beach
Phra Nang beach is located in the south of the Railay Beach peninsula and staying in its hotels a bit more luxurious and expensive, but you can find cheaper accommodation (bungalows and hotels) 15-20 minutes from the main beaches. If you feel hungry or thirsty, choose from about 15 boats equipped with food and beverages for everything you need. One of the most alluring attractions in Phra Nang is a cave shrine filled with old phallic symbols dedicated to Indian princess Sri Kunlathewi, who is invoked by local fishermen for a bountiful catch.
Mae Nam is on Koh Samui’s north shore with a long string of beautiful calm-watered beaches, ideal for a family vacation. It is perfect for swimming almost during the whole year, but don’t get nervous when the wind starts blowing because you can try and enjoy kite-surfing. Go out on Thursday evenings and try Thai street food, deep fried crickets and cocktails and listen to local bands. There are also spas, golf courses and temples.
Bophut, Koh Samui
Bophut, Koh Samui. This beach is probably the oldest one on the island and in the middle section of it is the Fisherman’s village – a former French outpost, which is the reason why it gives a distinct Mediterranean feel. Suitable for leisure vacations, you can enjoy swimming, scuba diving and shopping by day and romantic dinners at the very beach by night. Bophut, the true jewel of Thailand, would make everybody want to live by the beach.
Laem Tong Bay
Laem Tong Bay, Phi Phi islands. An attractive location which is ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday because it is secluded, as the only way to Phi Phi is by boat. There are small islands right across the beach, with a hundred meters of uniform seafloor, which are perfect for snorkeling and diving.
Koh Kradan, pure white sand and the silence is broken only by the sound of waves. An island located in the south, Koh Kradan is another jewel of Thailand. The sun shines all year round and you can enjoy Thai food and relaxing massages right there on its beautiful beaches. It is very quiet and simple and it affects meditatively calming. Best Thai massages, secluded beaches, transparent and wonderful sunsets. Welcome to Thailand.
Wow, I don't know about you but I'm ready to pack up my swim suite and head to Thailand today!

Hi there! I'm Skeeter. I grew up moving a lot and that makes me a bit restless for travel and exploration. I started this blog with my husband Pat when we decided to backpack New Zealand for a year. We are always looking for the next adventure and are loving life. We're just your average couple with two sassy dogs and a love for travel. We're sharing our travels and the tips we pick up along the way.
Hello! I'm Liz. Blogging is very new to me, but I'm so excited to finally write as much as I talk!
